male, retired military of 30 years. When I was on active duty my weight was under control but since I retired 7 years ago my weight got away from me. Time to take charge! Married and all children have left the nest on their own. Still working and enjoy working a vegetable garden, hobby shop and fishing/hunting. My goal is to get back down to my HS weight of 175. Finally learned to resist eating things like sweets and the other "white foods" like pasta, rice, breads etc.
