Looking forward to getting back to calorie counting and YouTube workouts starting on Monday morning. It's been a wonderful two weeks off for me mentally. Been a bit tough at times missing South Africa and everyone there and elsewhere in the world, but I've chatted to some and connected with others and it's been good. Been missing those we lost last year so much and it's been emotional at times, but I feel a bit better now with the new year approaching.

The interactions with FS friends have also been wonderful and I am thinking about all of you - especially those who are going through some hardships right now. You are in my thoughts and I'm sending lots of positive energy your way!

We've gone for a few walks throughout, which I haven't even bothered to track properly on Google Fit, but I will be aiming for at least 5000 steps most days of the week - if I can manage 5 out of 7 that would be great! We are doing some Meetup walks next week as well, which will help towards my goal.

I've seen some great workout Challenges on YouTube and I'll probably do some of the workouts on those as well, but won't commit myself to one or the other. I know I don't like to follow a schedule like that - I always choose what I feel like on the day, and it's what gets me to do it and keep going, so I'll stick with that for now. Will be aiming for at least 3 strength workouts per week for now and trying to increase my weights wherever possible.
