1st time i hopped on scale, said 186.
i let puppy out and tried again and i like reading more!

Any tips for pushing past a weight loss plateau?

it really depends on a few things. figure out if you are actually still in a calorie deficit or not if yes do nothing. how close are you to your goal weight? the closer you get the longer the plateau might last. I was on a plate for almost the entire month of June even though I was still in over 500 calorie deficit everyday. you can up your activity level if you want but I would just keep doing what your doing if you know you are in your desired deficit. if the platue last over 3 weeks then maybe rethink your total calorie intake and drop it alittle bit. but there will be plenty of platues along the way. in the beginning I was losing every day then the middle I would drop then platue 6 days then drop then platue 6 days then drop over and over it was bizarre then like I said last month was a platue the entire month actually i was gaining weight and getting pissed off about it. then all of a sudden I started dropping again. the other really important thing to remember is the scale isn't everything take your progress photos and your measurements they will be your biggest Indicator of true progress especially if you are recomping your body at the same time. good luck don't get discouraged it's going to happen just keep pushing through it.

My tip that worked for me was changing up my routine: zigzag calories intake +\- 200calories, reduce/increase workout time, variate cardio, weights and yoga. Hope this helps.
