Gained 0.1kg. no biggie. I guess it will fluctuate while I realize what works and what doesn't. Trying to up my calorie intake because it was way too low but I think I've figured it out. Need to lose a little bit more before my appointment with the doctor on the 23rd. I can do this!

Don’t know if this helps as well as attempting to tell you what to do. Decisions need to be between you and your MD BUT I’m also insulin resistant. After researching and especially after a recent post I found a diet I can live with. Just reduced my carbs to 10% or lower - increased my proteins and fats The result is most days I’m running in a deficit- not hungry - but good news is losing weight without feeling like I’m deprived. In fact my morning coffee is loaded with carbs but not to deprive myself of my morning indulgence I just make sure the remainder of the day is high in protein and fats with that being said my carbs end up between 5-10% causing a daily deficit and not hungry. Just wish it found this WOE a long time ago Gôod luck to you on your journey

Thank you Irish! What are you eating for carbs? I can barely keep them on the 50s and it's mostly from veggies.

grams and % are totally different! If you are eating carbs in the 50 grams range, look for what percentage of your total calories the carbs take - Irishdancer126 is talking about 10% percent of her total - not 10 grams!
