Pelvic pain. 2nd time. Last Thursday during training session happened immediately after pushing the sled and kettlebell planks. Sat down to do pulls and immediately hit with sharp, knife like stabbing pain in left pelvis. Felt like it was in the actual bone. Took my breath away. 2x less than 60 seconds each and then was fine. Today had training 10-10:45 and at 3:00 hit again even more severely. Lasted about 3 hours and was hit with extreme fatigue and nausea and slept for an hour. Woke up and pain is still there tho less. Keeping track here in case this persists over next few days will have an accurate accounting. Today’s workout was circuit. 20 lb dumbbell squats immediate rows (rows on pulling machine last thur when it happened), then calf raises all with 20 lb. Immediately before was HIIT workout for 6 min only on bike every 30 sec interval. All were sets of 3x15. Followed by leg press, single and both and inner/outer and walk. Looked it up on dr google but so many possibilities. When walking have to bend over double. So weird and uncomfortable. And painful.

SALT-met with nutritionist today. Topic included salt. I have intentionally tried to limit my salt intake. Had no valid reason for it other than a lifetime of hearing salt was unhealthy. Apparently untrue. She said not all salt is created equally. Our bodies need salt, vitamins d and k2 and magnesium for good bones. Well alrighty then!!! I actually like salt. She said NOT MORTONS that salt comes from a country i shall not name for fear of causing unintentional distress and can be full of unhealthy particulates such as metal. I had no idea. She strongly recommended Celtic salt or REAL salt (brand). Will be ordering today. Yippee!! So many things i have left salt out of. Wait till i tell hubs who is very salt averse a he also has thought unhealthy without any concrete reasoning. Touched on the flax seed (2TB) she has had me on for past 4 weeks along with bubbies pickles (1x a day) to help with my bowel function (which has been difficult for past 2 years to put it gently). I am also on a digestive enzyme which apparently have been taking incorrectly. Must take 1-2 with every meal not just 1x a day when i take all my supplements on an empty stomach. So, i learned something new. And thats a wrap for Monday.

Found this little guy yesterday on my walk. He appears injured on the right eye down to the nostril. His parents were circling above him trying to protect him. He’s a fledgling. Can’t fly yet so just out in the open where a coyote, cat, eagle or hawk would certainly have finished him off (he was in a driveway a few houses down from me). Took his to PAWS wildlife rescue this morning-100 mile round trip for me. They said he is very thin, low temp and are thinking it may be systemic. Not a good prognosis but i will keep him in my prayers. Poor baby. What a rough start to his young life. I think his parents are ones i feed daily on my morning walks so i sure hope they know somehow i am trying to help. Sounds like without intervention he would certainly have passed out there one way or the other. At least he has a chance this way.

1st pic about 11 years ago the year before my friend “the pulmonary disease” made my acquaintance. (Yellow shorts). Fluffier pic was about 5 years into prednisone’s unwelcome but necessary part of my life and the feeling of giving up on my health had taken over. Which meant i ate ice cream and milk chocolate in secret and would hide the evidence buried deep in the garbage. We didnt keep those foods in the house i would go get them after hubs went to work. Last picture was a few months ago and if we ever get a warm sunny day will take a current one. I am embarrassed and sad for the girl in the white bathing suit. She felt ill, not very sexy and unhappy with herself. The girl in the first and the last picture has her mojo back. Yes, there is damage from the 8 years i spent giving in to illness instead of fighting back. Mostly in the legs. But i sure do feel healthy, happy and whole pulmonary disease or not! Don’t give up. Don’t give in.
