The scale claims I am up that same .2 lbs again. I was surprised because I thought I did well yesterday, but in retrospect, I was feeling really stressed out yesterday, and I know all that cortisol is bad for one's metabolism.

Thanks to ML for making me an honorary Adventurer (? which team was it?) while I followed along with the rest of you travelers, but I am now officially a Voyager in the challenge. I hope I can get a loss in tomorrow at weigh-in. At the rate I was going before, I should have been to my mini-goal already, but I guess one can't expect everything in life to go smoothly.

I finally got some strength training in yesterday, btw. Not sure if extra strength training is what's making my bfp go down as planned or water weight. I guess I'll find out in time.

Have a nice day, all!!

Don't worry about a small gain. Our bodies can fluctate daily by 5 or more pounds for many different reasons (even if you stay 100% on plan). That's why if you weigh yourself daily, it's good to have realistic expectations (which means you may not lose every day). But you are doing great, so just keep going!

thanks, BT and Suzi! That's a good point, Suzi161. Sometimes when I weigh daily I see losses every day for a little while. But it is really unrealistic of me to expect that every time given our bodies' fluctuations. Thanks for the reminder.

Nice pics! Slow and steady wins the race. We'll get there! I find that drinking lots of water is helpful too!

Nice! you'll definitely have to keep posting some pictures as you lose - it's so motivating!

BadAndee, you are hilarious! I love that theory (not true, but I still love it) :) thanks deb and alaina! Yes, I think I will keep posting older and older pics of me as I get closer. It really does help! (now that I am moving in the right direction, whereas before it would depress me)
