41.5% The scale is the same as it was yesterday, but my bfp is down, so perhaps I either grew some muscles from running or I am retaining water? I really want to get a loss in for saturday's weigh in (and was hoping to meet my mini-goal by then, too) but so far, I am not back down to where I was last Saturday. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe the scale will surprise me with another huge loss friday night! :) I can dream, at least, because you never know. It could definitely happen. :)

I got us a new recruit, guys! New FS member HDFree is my friend in real life. Please welcome her onboard if you get a chance. This is the friend I spoke of yesterday... and I am forced to concede that she is NOT a bad influence, becase ice cream every once in a while is okay. ;) I still regret my choices that day, though. I'll plan better in the future. And I'll get a loss in soon!

I'm going to try to eat a big breakfast today to see if that helps me eat less during the day. Then I am off to a nearby town for work today, so I'll need to pack a lunch. And afterward I'll be babysitting while my brother and sister-in-law unpack from their move and repack for vacation-- so I hope we can eat a nice, healthful meal. Maybe I can offer to bring something, although I am not sure I'll have time.

Your high-tech scale sounds like just what I'm looking for! What brand/make is it? That's such a good way to track progress, because the number on the scale can be so misleading! Hope you have a good day :D

Sounds like a water retention thing to me! I'm sure you'll be down again with lots of water and good food choices today. :) Keep up the great work!!

lol you don't build much muscle overnight, sorry to break it to you. It takes a month for the average woman(not on steriods and growth hormones, lol) to build ONE POUND of muscle! So much for muscle weighs more than fat! I was shocked to hear that. But the good news is your muscles do retain water after vigorous exercise, the other day out of cuirosity I weighed myself before and after jogging, and after jogging I was up 5 pounds! And I didn't drink any water! Weird, eh? I love your kitty, she looks just like a calico I had a few years back named Patches. I think calicos are the sweetest cats! I am definitely a cat lover more than a dog person, but I love all animals. I have just had bad luck with dogs, they always are so naughty and destructive. I wish I had a Yorkie though..they are precious!

thanks, everyone! :) massiverally, my scale is a tanita brand. I got it at target. It was like $40 or so, there was only a couple scales available there and this was the more expensive. I think its worth it though. solsista- putty-tat, haha! I think I will start calling her that. :) Thanks, Bt, and Lotus, for explaining that for me. I like the muscle theory better, but you have to go and burst my bubble, don't you, Lotus? ;) Seriously, that is interesting about jogging>>5 lbs. You know, my vet actually told me that calicos were not usually nice, and that he was surprised by how nice mine is! Go figure. I am a cat person, too, but I like dogs also. Never had one, they sound like a lot of work! Hi PDTL, thanks for stopping by! I only just figured out how to post pics myself, it was complicated, so I will message you what I messaged another member to try to explain.
