I’m almost to 140. Many years ago I was 200+ and used FatSecret to get to a goal weight of 140, which I reached at the time of my wedding to my first husband. I didn’t increase my calories at that point and naturally kept losing all the way down to my even earlier weight of 120. But 120 didn’t look as good on me in my thirties as it did in my teens and twenties and, perhaps because I work in my mental health, I got constant questions about whether I was anorexic. So I deliberately gained back up to the 130-135 range. This is the range I’m aiming to get back down to, but because of my earlier goal weight of 140, I’m so excited to be almost to 140!

I just changed my settings from “followers only” back to “everyone” and am laughing at myself for wondering why I didn’t have many comments. I went through a protective phase several years ago and must have changed the settings when I had a cyber stalker but he’s long gone and probably never thought to look for me here so I think I’m good. :) maybe I’ll even get wild and put a profile picture up, we shall see!

I’m doing well with calorie restriction and exercise though my diet is at times somewhat imbalanced toward snacks and alcohol. I wait too long to eat waiting for my fiancé to want dinner and then I fill up on snacks. And beer is a stress reliever but I have other ways of relieving stress. I am setting my intention to cut down a little on both. And to increase vegetables.

You're inspiring! I dream of being back in that 135-140 range, where I once felt SO fat!!!! Such foolishness that sent me into decades of fad diets and continual weight gain. But I'm coming back!!!!! Woooohoooo
