A quick and very filling soup that doubles as a meal.
Ingredienti
Preparazione
- Cook onion, celery and garlic in olive oil over medium-high heat until soft.
- Add chicken broth, black beans, coriander and cayenne pepper. Simmer uncovered, about 10 minutes.
- Stir in balsamic vinegar.
- Serve warm and garnish with cilantro.
- Note: optional to take soup (when cooled) and transfer to blender and process to smooth consistency. Serve warmed.

The recipe looks really good but needs to be changed to phase 2. It would have to be the black soy beans to be in phase 1. Regular black beans which I love are not until phase 2.

I put this soup thru the blender and it came out terrific! I didn't have coriander and substituted cumin and it was very tasty. Even non-dieters would really enjoy it.

A good soup. I made it with canned kidney beans, and only added two cups of water. It was very good.

I really liked this recipe. I left out the balsamic & added a few home toasted tortilla strips for some crunch. I also blended all, but 1 can of beans so that it maintained some chunk-factor. Overall my famiily enjoyed it and didn't even realize they were having something semi-healthy. thanks for the recipe!

excellent....kids and husband LOVED it. Added a little chipotle sauce (like tabasco) to give a hint more flavor - lovely!

This was great, we actually scooped the beans out and used them as a side dish. Was really yummy!
